The Tale of the Teeny, Tiny Black Ant: Helping Children Learn Persistence |
The Tale of the Teeny, Tiny Black Ant teaches young children the importance of perseverance. Ace is a small ant who wants to make his Queen happy. He finds a beautiful blue feather and wants to give it to her, but he encounters many obstacles and troubles climbing the tall wall to the Queen. Children see that Ace’s diligence and hard work help him achieve his goal of giving his Queen a very special gift.
The Tale of the Teeny, Tiny Black Ant is a beautifully illustrated story that teaches children the importance of sticking to difficult tasks to achieve their goals. Children gain positive attitudes about themselves and others through learning persistence. Determination allows children to feel they can do things for themselves and help others as well. By making the effort and not giving up, an elusive goal can be achieved.
